Lucienne has been on staff at Steveston Veterinary Hospital since 2008 but she was previously a veterinary assistant at a small animal practice in Nova Scotia. Her career in veterinary medicine began when she started volunteering at the SPCA in Dartmouth, NS. She obtained her Veterinary Assistant diploma in 2006 and has taken several continuing education courses through VSPN and Vetmedteam. She is interested in science, politics, and history and enjoys photography, traveling, and reading in her free time. Her favorite parts of the job are being an advocate for those who can’t ask for help when needed and also learning about the advances and technology involved in veterinary medicine. She has a German Shepherd named Bandit and a Maine Coon named Forbes.
