The history of Steveston Veterinary Hospital is rooted in a deep passion for animals and a love of science. It was exactly this that drove the founder of the hospital, Dr. Robert Galloway, into a career in veterinary medicine and inspired him to open the first Steveston Veterinary Hospital in 1974. Dr. Galloway has a special interest in surgery and gained extensive experience in orthopedic and general surgery cases throughout his career. As a result Steveston Veterinary Hospital has been renowned for its depth of knowledge in surgical cases and have had clients referred to them across the province.
Dr Galloway’s passion for animal wellness has been passed onto his daughter Dr. Breanne Galloway who grew up learning the intricacies of animal care throughout her life. After graduating from Veterinary School in Dublin, Dr. Breanne Galloway followed in her father’s footsteps to become the lead veterinarian at Steveston Veterinary Hospital and brings the same passion, depth of knowledge and care to her clients as she works with them throughout their lifespan.
With new modern facilities and an experienced staff, the Galloway’s are thrilled to be able to provide professional, quality care to those throughout Greater Vancouver.
We are conveniently located in Richmond, BC on the corner of Francis Road and Gilbert Road.
