JOB POSITION: Veterinarian

Wage: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually, to be negotiated based on experience.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 1 year working in a veterinary hospital

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school

  • Provincial veterinary license in good standing

  • Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and diseases

  • Ability to work in a face paced, sometime stressful environment 

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask 

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to create and maintain client relationships

  • Self motivated individual, able to work well on your own and in team environment 

  • Reliable, punctual 

  • Able to handle case sensitive information and procedures

  • Compassion and patience when handling animals and interacting with pet owners

  • Positive attitude and desire to support both pets and people alike

  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure comprehensive patient care

  • Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
